Since Labour came to power, they have already closed one quarter of Brent’s Post Offices with 2,500 more closures across the UK to come. Local campaigner Chris Philp said, “Post Offices are the heart of our local communities. Closing even more down will strike a blow to the heart of Brent’s vibrant life. Often, the most vulnerable in society – including the elderly – rely on these Post Offices. I will continue to campaign against these callous closures”.
